Dead Zone: Michael Jai White, Chad Michael Collins star in action creature feature

Black Dynamite himself Michael Jai White and Sniper franchise star Chad Michael Collins (the most recent installment of that series was 2020’s Sniper: Assassin’s End), star in the upcoming creature feature action movie Dead Zone – and Deadline has gotten their hands on a first look image from the film, showing White and Collins in costume as their characters! They’re accompanied in this image by a character played by Antuone Torbert (Jurassic Hunt). You can check it out at the bottom of this article.

Not connected in any way to the Stephen King story The Dead Zone, this Dead Zone follows

an elite team of soldiers who, to stop the collapse of humanity, descend on a radiation-poisoned town and perform the ultimate stealth mission using high-tech armor and weapons. But they need to be careful – with hell on Earth, they may just meet the devil.

Are Michael Jai White and Chad Michael Collins really going to fight Satan in this movie? I hope so, because that would be awesome.

Dead Zone is directed by Hank Braxtan (Snake Outta Compton). We don’t know who wrote the script at this time, but we do know that the movie was produced by Automatic Entertainment’s Michael Lurie, Jeffrey Giles, and Tarkan Dospil. It’s currently in post-production, and we’ll keep you updated on it as it keeps moving forward.

White, Collins, and Torbert are joined in the cast by the great character actor Jeff Fahey (Body Parts). I’m not familiar with Torbert, but I was already sold on this project due to the involvement of White and Collins. Knowing Fahey is in it as well makes me even more hyped to check it out.
