If you can’t wait to see the vehicular action flick DEATH RACE… you don’t really have to wait at all, since the new trailer seems to have condensed the entire movie down to two-and-a-half minutes. Convenient!
Unsurprisingly, director Paul WS Anderson appears to have completely jettisoned the social satire that made Corman’s original DEATH RACE 2000 a cult classic. Instead he’s packed the update with fistfights, hot bodies, spent ammunition and lots and lots of ‘splosions in what looks like a movie mash-up of ROAD WARRIOR and THE FUGITIVE. Start your engines.
