Slow news day? Most definitely. So here’s an incredibly brief behind-the-scenes glimpse of “the Dreadnought”, a thundering vehicle from the upcoming remake of DEATH RACE. It looks more to me like it escaped from WARLORDS OF THE 21st CENTURY or an Albert Pyun movie, but this one’s directed by Paul WS Anderson, so subtlety (or quality) probably shouldn’t be expected.
DEATH RACE, an update of Roger Corman’s cult classic, stars Jason Statham as a futuristic convict forced to compete in the event of the title. Joan Allen, Tyrese Gibson and Ian McShane also rip up the roads in September.
