Deep Water trailer: Hulu gives a longer look at Ben Affleck, Ana de Armas erotic thriller

Exactly three weeks ago, the Hulu streaming service released a new teaser trailer for Deep Water, a new erotic thriller from Jacob’s Ladder and Fatal Attraction director Adrian Lyne. Now they’ve released a full trailer for the film to give a better idea of what’s going on with the lead characters played by Ben Affleck and Ana de Armas. You can check it out in the embed above.

Based on a novel by The Talented Mr. Ripley author Patricia Highsmith (pick up a copy HERE), Deep Water takes us

inside the marriage of picture-perfect Vic (Affleck) and Melinda (de Armas) Van Allen to discover the dangerous mind games they play and what happens to the people that get caught up in them.

The original synopsis let us know that the characters played by Ben Affleck (Gone Girl) and Ana de Armas (No Time to Die) are

a small-town couple in a loveless marriage in which the wife is allowed to take lovers as long as she does not desert the family. However, complications arise when the husband takes credit for the unsolved murder of one of the former lovers.

Zach Helm and Sam Levinson wrote the screenplay for the film, which also stars Lil Rel Howery (Get Out), Kristen Connolly (The Cabin in the Woods), Tracy Letts (Homeland), Rachel Blanchard (Snakes on a Plane), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan), Jacob Elordi (The Kissing Booth), Jade Fernandez (FBI), Finn Wittrock (American Horror Story), Michael Braun (The Affair), Grace Jenkins (The New Nanny), Brendan C. Miller (In Time), Devyn Tyler (Clarice), and Jeff Pope (Black Snake Moan).

Deep Water was produced by Arnon Milchan, Guymon Casady, Benjamin Forkner, and Anthony Katagas.

The film will be released exclusively through Hulu as a Hulu Original in the U.S. on March 18th.

A new poster has also arrived online. How do you feel about the new Deep Water trailer?
