Most people out there found Neil Marshall’s THE DESCENT to be a gem. It was a different flick that turned heads and left most genre fans satisfied. Personally I didn’t find it amazing, but it’s definitely worth a watch.
It’s no secret that a sequel to the hit ‘monsters-in-a-cave’ movie is heading our way. Unfortunately this one is happening without Mr. Marshall, but it seems like there’s still some hope. Photographer Ollie Upton worked on THE DESCENT: PART 2 and recently threw up some stills from the flick over at his official site. The kicker? They’re actually some pretty awesome stills!

THE DESCENT: PART 2, thankfully dropping that horrendous DE2CENT title, is set to hit UK theaters May 15. No word on a US release yet but we’ll keep you updated.
