At first I didn’t quite understand the new teaser for the 3-D CG-animated DESPICABLE ME — I was under the impression that the movie was about a dastardly supervillain, voiced by Steve Carell. And while the comedian doesn’t actually make a vocal appearance here, the premise does become clear.
The movie isn’t due for another year, so this is obviously an advance look (and the very definition of a teaser). Universal’s DESPICABLE ME will feature the voices of Carell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Will Arnett, Kristen Wiig and Danny McBride, among others.
