Destruction runs rampant in new trailer for Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon

For what’ll no doubt be one of the behemoth summer blockbusters of 2011, we have a new TRANSFORMERS: DARK SIDE OF THE MOON trailer. Energetic, extravagant, downright destructive…the new look is one you won’t wanna miss!

Personally, aside from the gaudy eye-candy, my favorite part is seeing a bespectacled Fran McDormand looking all serious as she spouts some heinous threats at LsBeouf’s character. Pure comedy!

Set to hit thousands of screens on July 1st – DARK SIDE OF THE MOON finds:

The Autobots Bumblebee, Ratchet, Ironhide and Sideswipe led by Optimus Prime, back in action, taking on the evil Decepticons, who are determined to avenge their defeat in 2009’s ‘Transformers Revenge of the Fallen’. In this new movie, the Autobots and Decepticons become involved in a perilous space race between the U.S. and Russia, and once again human Sam Witwicky has to come to the aid of his robot friends. There’s new characters too, including a new villain in the form of Shockwave, a longtime ‘Transformers’ character who rules Cybertron while the Autobots and Decepticons battle it out on Earth.

Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (below), Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Malkovich, John Turturro, Patrick Dempsey and Frances McDormand all star in the film.
