I’m a sucker for low budget zombie movies. Hell one of the greatest zombie movies of all time was extremely low budget, so where’s the hate? I mean most of these flicks suck, sure. But some may actually be worth giving a chance! Which brings me to today’s article: BEVERLY LANE.

Haven’t heard of this one yet? Worry not! That’s what I’m here for. BEVERLY LANE comes from writer/director Joshua Hull and happens to be a horror-comedy about a bunch of workers who have to battle zombies, clowns, a mime and more! Yikes! Check out the synopsis:

A local metal company partake in a “Coney Island” themed retirement party for their retiring boss. Things get a little interesting once all hell breaks loose…literally!! The workers must soon battle zombies as they also deal with a magician, a mime, one very sick barbershop singer and 3 not so normal clowns..or die trying!

Well damn! Sounds like my kind of party! The teaser image above comes from the flick’s Facebook while the DVD artwork you see below comes from the guys at Dread Central, who mention that Mr. Michael Bukowski is responsible for the beauty you see below. A mime’s head on a plate… That’s genius.

BEVERLY LANE stars Jim O’Rear, Mark A. Nash, Noah East, Raymond Kester, Donald A. Becker, Debora J. Mincy, David Ross, Eric T. Schroeder, Dan Holmes, Angela Steele Bowers, Morgan Shepard, Terry Minkey, Matt Rich, Martin Stapleton, Kristen Jenkins and Mark W. Applegate. Principal photography is set to start next month in Anderson, Indiana.

So what says you guys? I know it’s early but you think BEVERLY LANE might be one worth keeping an eye on? Hit us with some bullets below and be sure to keep it here for more on the film as we hear it!
