Devil’s Due images show the calm before the storm

Last week we got our hands on a creepy one-sheet for DEVIL'S DUE, the new found-footage horror flick from Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett (V/H/S), and now Twentieth Century Fox has dished out some stills showing us a few smiles before shit hits the fan. With so many found-footage horror flicks barreling towards us it's hard to pinpoint which ones are really going to leave their mark on the genre. DEVIL'S DUE, however, is certainly one to pay attention to as both Bettinelli-Olpin and Gillett have showed in the past that they know a thing or two when it comes to terrorizing audiences with a shaky-cam.

After a mysterious, lost night on their honeymoon, a newlywed couple finds themselves dealing with an earlier-than-planned pregnancy. While recording everything for posterity, the husband begins to notice odd behavior in his wife that they initially write off to nerves, but, as the months pass, it becomes evident that the dark changes to her body and mind have a much more sinister origin.

Penned by Lindsay Devlin, DEVIL'S DUE stars Zach Gilford, Allison Miller, Robert Belushi, Sam Anderson, Kurt Krause, Sloane Coe and Griff Furst. The devil will show his face in theaters everywhere January 17, 2014.
