Fresh off the news that Elise and Electra Avellan will be joining the jam-packed cast of Robert Rodriguez’s MACHETE KILLS comes another casting announcement for the film you might want to hear about.
It seems character actor William Sadler is the latest name to join the project, which along with the Crazy Babysitter Twins also stars Mel Gibson, Charlie Sheen, Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, Edward James Olmos, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Demian Bechir and Amber Heard (below).
The sequel finds the titular ex-federale (Trejo) recruited by the U.S. government to stop a terrorist named Mendez the Madman, who happens to be Mexico’s leading cartel dealer.
Sadler (above) dropped the news over on his Twitter account, which is where you’ll also find the picture you see below featuring Robert Rodriguez on set! Apparently MACHETE KILLS just wrapped it’s first full day of filming. Nice! Here’s Sadler’s ‘tweets’ if you don’t believe me:

Wait a minute… Does that mean Cuba Gooding Jr… Nah. Let’s not jump to conclusions.
