When it comes to Tim Burton’s latest, it seems as though you’re either on the “DARK SHADOWS looks fun!” or the “Why does DARK SHADOWS look this way?” side of things. You can count me as standing with the latter, but I’m ready to give it a chance.

If you’re unsure of where you stand on the comedy, which releases on MAY 11th, you should take a gander at the recently unveiled featurette, which gives you a closer look at the tone DARK SHADOWS is brandishing. There are also snippets of scenes from the movie, as well as interviews with the principal cast members. Check it below.

The master of Collinwood Manor, Barnabas is rich, powerful and an inveterate playboy…until he makes the grave mistake of breaking the heart of Angelique Bouchard. A witch, in every sense of the word, Angelique dooms him to a fate worse than death: turning him into a vampire, and then burying him alive.

Two centuries later, Barnabas is inadvertently freed from his tomb and emerges into the very changed world of 1972. He returns to Collinwood Manor to find that his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin.

DARK SHADOWS comes out on MAY 11th.
