There’s word on a novel adaptation over at The Hollywood Reporter today. The novel I’m talking about is A JEALOUS GHOST by A.N. Wilson. JEALOUS GHOST is about a young American woman who travels to London to write a dissertation on Henry James’ classic ghost tale, “The Turn of the Screw,” only to find that her own circumstances begin to reflect the strange happenings of the story.
That sounds pretty damn cool, right? Word today is that Latin director Gonzalo Lopez-Gallego has signed on. You might recognize Lopez-Gallego as the director behind KING OF THE HILL, the twisted movie that’s been touring the festival circuit for a year now.
The flick comes from Paramount Vantage with the script coming from Megan Holley. Kirsten Dunst (below) is set to produce and star. We’ll keep you updated once we hear more on this intriguing adaptation.
