On April 20th, 2010, one of the world’s largest man-made disasters occurred on the offshore drilling rig Deepwater Horizon in the Gulf of Mexico. Directed by Peter Berg (LONE SURVIVOR, BATTLESHIP) and starring Kurt Russell and Mark Wahlberg, HORIZON looks to bring some real heart-pumping action sequences our way, which you can get a glimpse of with the new trailer!

Peter Berg is very much a Michael Bay-esque director for me, in that he brings a solid vision and intensity to his films, but the stories seem to be emotionally lacking. Still, if you know what you're going to get, that's not a bad thing. What I really want to see is if oil can contend with the will of Kurt Russell's mighty 'stache. The answer: Nnnnnno!

DEEPWATER HORIZON will open in theaters on September 30, 2016.
