Dismal Future trailer!

Remember a while back we had a story on a group of indie filmmakers, Aviator Pictures, who with a budget of $20,000 were in the process of creating an 14-minute short involving Batman, Robocop and Jason? No, we weren’t on a bender, it was very much real.

BATMAN: DISMAL FUTURE is Writer, Director & Producer S M Murphy’s attempt to prove to the big boys that even with such a miniscule budget, he can pull off a film that looked like something Warner, MGM or New Line had done with a $20 million budget.

Well, over the weekend, the official site pulled the trigger and gave fanboys another reason to get excited. That’s right, the trailer for the film was released, and it looks bang-on! Granted, it’s not streaming from anywhere, and it’s zipped for your bandwidth protection, but that just ups the excitement, in my opinion.

Click here for the official site, click Batman’s logo for the trailer, and keep your eyes peeled for the short when it hits in the fall. Props again to Dave for keeping us updated on the project.
