Just recently we found out that Hamilton alumn Phillipa Soo would be joining the cast of MOANA, Disney's next animated venture featuring the vocal talents of Dwayne Johnson, Alan Tudyk , and Auli'i Cravalho. The film will also be featuring some original music from the Hamilton star himself, Lin-Manuel Miranda. If that's not enough to get you excited about this project, then perhaps the first poster for the film might do the trick?

The story follows Moana Waialiki, a sea voyaging enthusiast and the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators. When her family needs her help, she sets off on an epic journey that includes demi-gods and spirits taken from real mythology. Sounds like a fun time, and for my gamers reading this, the poster is very reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, which is a great thing! Here's hoping a trailer is not far behind!

MOANA will hit theaters on November 23, 2016.
