Indie filmmaker Lance Weiler dropped us a line to show us and other potential filmmakers the true DIY way to get a film off the ground and out to the public. In this case it’s his new film, HEAD TRAUMA!
Not only is Lance the writer and director of HEAD TRAUMA, but he’s also the distributor and publicist! He’s even gone so far as to set up his own theatrical run in 15 cities across the U.S. starting August 18th. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Lance is the same dude who directed THE LAST BROADCAST back in 1998.
The official site is up and running for the film, which details the locations where HEAD TRAUMA will make its stops, beginning in Portland at The Hollywood Theatre. The rest of the site has some slick Flash comic book-style visuals for you to oogle over, as well as links to the merchandise, it’s MySpace page and more! Head on over to see for yourself.
