Do The Hustle in your Snuggie for Vampires Suck flash mob

Perhaps the only thing worse than a bad movie is a bad spoof of a bad movie. That’s about all I’m going to say about VAMPIRES SUCK, which lampoons the TWILIGHT saga. Hey, at least they got their target right.

The flick comes from the (simple) minds of SCARY MOVIE creators Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer. It features Diedrich Bader (OFFICE SPACE) and Ken Jeong (THE HANGOVER) alongside a cast of relative unknowns.

The movie hit theaters in August and is now gearing up for its November 30th DVD and Blu-ray release via Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment. In what sounds like it will be more entertaining than the picture itself, a “flash mob” is being formed in Hollywood to recreate a scene in which Snuggie-clad people do The Hustle:

Recreating the final scene from the year’s funniest spoof movie, VAMPIRES SUCK, 100 dancers will wear red designer Snuggies® and dance the Hustle in the courtyard of Madame Tussauds on Hollywood Boulevard.

Sorry if that spoiled the big finale for anyone! If you want to check out the action, the mob starts at 2:00 pm at 6933 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, CA. Special features for the DVD and Blu-ray releases are as follows:

– Both theatrical and extended/unrated cuts of the film
– 5 deleted scenes
– Gag reel
– 4 additional deleted scenes (Blu-ray only)
– Digital copy of the film (Blu-ray only)

If you’re dying to see this flick in high-def with those extra cut scenes, pre-order the Blu-ray HERE; otherwise the DVD can be pre-ordered HERE.
