Do these new Amazing Spider-man 2 and Winter Soldier toys reveal story details for the films?

Before we get into these images of Hasbro's new toys for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER, a couple of things need to be mentioned. First off, the toys could be spoilers for the films so some of you may want to avoid this. Secondly, as many of you know toy companies can get a little ridiculous with action figures for comic book movies, and the characters shown may not appear in the films.

With that being said, Toy Ark has some pictures from a Hasbro party in New York City of several figures based on CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2. So why the warning above? Well one of the figures for THE WINTER SOLDIER is called "Agents of HYDRA" and that could mean the criminal organization might appear in the film. HYDRA was also in the first movie, but the group has a very long history in the comics, so it wouldn't be all that surprising if HYDRA survived all these years after the events from CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER, even without Red Skull.

There are several characters shown below that will obviously not appear in THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2, but we do know there are plans for Green Goblin, even if we don't get him in full Goblin form in this movie. But will he be the Ultimate version of the character, like the figure posted below? One rumor about the character's design was that he would be wearing armor again like in Sam Raimi's films, but Marc Webb's movies are definitely influenced by the Ultimate series, so it does seem likely they would use this version for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2.

But these are just action figures, not confirmed plot details or character designs, so take all of this with a massive grain of salt. CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER hits theaters April 4th, 2014 and THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 will be released on May 2nd, 2014.
