In an interview with Glamour Magazine, star Elizabeth Olsen – who will play the co-lead in the upcoming superhero sequel Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as Scarlett Witch a.k.a. Wanda Maximoff – had this to say about the film:
It's a bonkers movie, they’re definitely going for that horror show vibe!

Sounds good to me! Unfortunately, Kevin Feige has already gone out to confirm that it won't be a horror movie, per se, but luckily that it would still contain a lot of horror elements (including vampires, if the rumored introduction of Mashallah Ali's Blade is true). And having director Sam Raimi merge his horror roots with his big-budget superhero oeuvre seem like a dream come true! Let's hope it pays off!
Meanwhile, Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness – also starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Rachel McAdams – will conjure up into theaters March 25, 2022!
So what do you guys think? Looking forward to the sequel? If so, does the horror-element sound more or less appealing? Either way, sound off below!
