For anyone who has heard anything about DONKEY PUNCH, this should come to no surprise, but it’s always nice when things like this become ‘official,’ as you know for sure what you’re getting… plus, you gotta love the MPAA for giving you reasons to see an R rated flick!
Hot off the revelation of the film’s one sheet (check that out HERE), the MPAA has slapped DONKEY PUNCH with a nice, juicy R rating, and I think you’ll be pleased by the reasons: a scene of strong sexual content involving an aberrant violent act, graphic nudity, violence, language and drug use.
Yes folks, it doesn’t get any better than that! Graphic nudity and more than one mention of violence… shoot, that’s all you had to say MPAA, I’m so there! Thanks!
Briefly, DONKEY PUNCH is about seven young adults who are partying aboard a luxury yacht in the middle of the ocean. But when one of them dies in a freak accident (the Donkey Punch of course), the others argue about what to do, which leads to a ruthless fight for survival.
It’s like VERY BAD THINGS, but on a boat. Maybe that was the pitch all along. No date has been set other than it being released something in January… either way, get ready for the R rated, violent / nudtiy filled extravanganza DONKEY PUNCH coming soon!
