Sam Raimi’s been making the rounds the past few weeks when it comes to news updates. Strangely none of that news has been for his upcoming return to horror: DRAG ME TO HELL. No, instead we’re bothered by stuff like SPIDER-MAN 4 and excited for stuff like EVIL DEAD 4. But today we’re going to be a little different and give you all some DRAG ME TO HELL love.
Above you’ll find the newest (and last?) poster for the film. It’s a quad from across the pond over in the UK. Basically a revamp of the film’s one-sheet with some heavy praise for the flick plastered around. Works for me. Funny how they’re plugging Raimi as the director of SPIDER-MAN and not EVIL DEAD though… exactly what audience are they going for here? So what’s your take on DRAG ME TO HELL? Think Raimi will return to form regardless of the PG-13 rating? Or do you think he’s been too over exposed to the big budget stuff?
DRAG ME TO HELL follows a loan officer ordered to evict an old woman from her home then finds herself the recipient of a supernatural curse, which turns her life into a living hell. Desperate, she turns to a seer to try and save her soul, while evil forces work to push her to a breaking point. Alison Lohman (below) and Justin Long star. DRAG ME TO HELL hits theaters next month on May 29th.
