While we are a year and some change away from one of the most ambitious videogame adaptations, WARCRAFT, its director is hard at work in post-production to ensure a quality product will hit screens. Duncan Jones made a name for himself with the low-budget affair MOON and his follow-up, SOURCE CODE. A self-proclaimed Warcraft fan, Mr. Jones has the talent and respect for the source material to see this thing through, and recently spoke up on Twitter regarding some aspects of the film as well as a possibility for a dual trailer campaign.

Given that Ramin Djawadi (PACIFIC RIM, Game of Thrones) is scoring WARCRAFT, it doesn't surprise me that Jones has been humming the music. Furthermore, I love Jones' enthusiasm about the project and possible sequels. Most of the time when you hear about the smaller, more artistically inclined directors talk big-budget, they're less than enthused. Duncan Jones has fully embraced this project and I really hope he has something special in store for us come next March.

WARCRAFT is scheduled to hit theaters on March 11, 2016.
