We’ve just received an exclusive heads-up on a new independent horror flick that should be heading our way sooner than you may think. It’s called DUST & DEATH and we’ve got a slew of pics below as well as the official trailer. All in all, it doesn’t seem too shabby for a low-budget thriller. You’ll get blood, screaming girls, chases, and a nice shot of some big-breasted babe tied to a table. It’s said to be along the lines of TALES FROM THE CRYPT and VAULT OF HORROR. Here’s a taste of the plot:
Get ready for something deliciously dark when the destiny of a beautiful young woman and a stranger known only as “The Traveller” become entangled in the lives of a suicidal goth who meets the unlikeliest of new friends, a bankrobber whose plans for the perfect score go terribly wrong, and a hitch-hiker whose new ride might not be as friendly as he seems.
DUST & DEATH was written and directed by Vince Corkadel (a true fan of the genre–always a good sign) and stars George Stover, Eva Zekova, Scott Patrick Staab, Alexis Shea, Erica Liebman, and Dave Wynn. According to Corkadel, the flick has received several distribution offers, but he may decide to go the self-distribution route.
