So many, in fact, that the series was in need of an ultimate movie collection! Wow. Fox outdid themselves by pimping the shite outta these three discs – double-sided treatment and everything. Makes me giddy enough to get drunk off of a gallon a milk…

DEADEN UNRATED LIMITED COLLECTOR’S EDITION – March 1st
Ah, the return of the ultra-violent revenge flicks. This may be at the top of my ‘must-see’ list at the moment, mostly because I’ve been in the mood for some serious revenge. Whether driving down the freeway, or dealing with the in-laws, a little overly violent and extremely brutal revenge is just what I need. And yes, folks… it looks like DEADEN is gonna deliver! Plus, did I mention this is John Fallon’s (aka The Arrow) pet project? Because it is… pick it up and show it some vengeful love.
NOTE: All the other versions of Deaden have been watered down because of censorship
issues. This is the only time besides Festivals showings where you get to see it
in its uncut glory.

PISTOL WHIPPED – March 4th
Speaking of some ultra-violent – how about some Steven Seagal action??? While the man has made a new career out of straight to DVD schlock, I consider myself one of the lucky few to have not seen any of them, though PISTOL WHIPPED is looking to change my mind. For one, the logo is a sweet knock-off of THE SOPRANOS, and two – it co-stars Lance Henricksen, baby! Put that dude in a movie, and the entertainment quality goes through the roof. I can just see the film’s killer one liner now: “Hey a-hole, you’ve just been pistol whipped!”

THE DEL TENNEY COLLECTION – March 25th
Schlocky Italian horror hasn’t looked this good since Elvira was hosting us through the goods in early 80s late-night TV. The one and only Del Tenney made a career directing sweet love stories in the midst of bizarre violence, monsters, and… beach parties. Gotta love the 60s. This collection has the makings of a perfect night in, filled with vodka tonics, big hair, and polyester suites. For the grindhouse lovers in all of us, here is the ultimate gift.

TOOTH AND NAIL –March 18th – Because out of all the After Dark fest covers, this one is my favorite.
LAKE DEAD –March 18th – Because with a title as original as that, how can you go wrong?
FINGERPRINTS – March 25th – Because while I’m sure it’s utter crap, the cover rocks – and there’s something to be said about that.
