With a cover like this, does it really matter that the movie delivered well below expectations? No. It doesn’t. Because when it’s on DVD, the fact that it’s a weak-ass slasher flick won’t surpass that Rachel Nichols is seen soaking wet in a nightie and cleavage abound for the majority of the picture. And the fact that they used it for the cover? Props.

ONE MISSED CALL – April 22nd
You know a studio has no backing for a movie when they release it on DVD and there are NO special features. It’s not that they haven’t been announced yet – there just aren’t any to be found! Even the crappiest of crapfests have special features… I guess they’ve finally realized that no one really cares enough about a crappy movie to want to watch a ‘making of’ featurette – so in a way, we should be thanking them for the barebones release. Thanks!

LOCH NESS TERROR – April 15th
Low budget monster movies (mostly seen off the SciFi Channel) are a dime a dozen these days – but I ain’t complaining. Sure, most have horrid effects and are just ‘bad’ all around, but you can’t deny they aren’t fun. No matter what kind of mood you’re in, I can almost guarantee watching ol’ Nessy terrorize a few locals and dine in human beings will put a smile on your face. Shit – the cover alone should at least get you feeling better!

13: GAME OF DEATH – March 11th
With every Dimension Extreme release, they seem to outdo themselves – and 13: GAME OF DEATH is no different. Slick cover design, and a concept that just won’t quit – it’s only a matter of time before this puppy hits ‘cult’ status. Er, at least, if I’m to believe the hype. What would YOU do for $100 Million??? This flick could end up being a cross between FEAR FACTOR and WOULD YOU RATHER… oh, the possibilities…

KINKY KILLERS –April 15th – Because it’s about smokin’ hot vampire chicks – it ain’t original, but damn is it entertaining!
THE FOREST –May 6th – Because forests aren’t scary enough, they through in your girlfriend’s homicidal dad! Ouch!
BLOODSUCKING BABES FROM BURBANK –May 6th – Because the title rocks. ‘Nuff said.
