THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL (2-DISC SPECIAL EDITION) – December 2nd

Just in time for the release of the remake starring Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, this new edition of the Sci-Fi classic is actually pretty sweet, as there are two discs of good stuff to be had in this set. If you’ve seen the previously released DVD (i.e., the barebones p.o.s.), you’ll be thanking your lucky stars for that remake. Why? Because without the remake, they probably wouldn’t be releasing a special edition set like this! See, there are good things that come out of remakes!
