MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN – February 17th
After what seems like years of development and being dicked around by Lionsgate as to the theatrical release (which pretty much didn’t happen), we can all relax and be happy… because MIDNIGHT MEAT TRAIN is finally hitting DVD! With a cool cover and a couple of special features, this will be the perfect DVD to top the other horror show hitting theaters the Friday before… bring on the TRAIN!

HIT AND RUN – January 13th
Here’s a real original concept… HIT AND RUN. I’m guessing it’s about a hit and run that goes terribly wrong, although I’m not sure how a hit and run could go right. Maybe after an unsuccessful hit and run the flick turns into a feature-length film like the ‘Hitchhiker’ segment from CREEPSHOW 2. If that’s the case, count me in! If not… well, I guess it could always turn out like STUCK. Like I said, what an original concept!

IGOR – January 20th
This one goes out to all the kiddies. This actually looked like it could have pretty good, but alas… I didn’t see it. But the concept is cool and I’m a huge fan of both John Cusak and Steve Buscemi–even if it is just their voices. I really dug MONSTER HOUSE, so here’s to hopin’ this is a good ‘scary’ flick for the little ‘uns… and mildly entertaining for the rest of us.

NETHERBEAST INCORPORATED –January 6th – Because the cast is rockin’ and I absolutely agree with the tagline!
SHARKS IN VENICE –January 27th – Because you can’t go wrong with a straight-forward title like that… plus, it stars Stephen Baldwin!
NITE TALES February 3rd – Because somehow they manage to work in Flavor Flav’s giant clock into the script, AND it co-stars Gary Busey!
That’s all for this week! Stay tuned every week for your latest DVD news, and as always, feel free to shoot me an email (ammongilbert@joblo.com
