THE GRUDGE 3 – March 24th
I know what you’re thinking. “What the hell do you mean there’s a GRUDGE 3? Did this sucker come out in theaters that one week I didn’t go to the movies?” Sorry to say but THE GRUDGE series has gone by way of the STD, this time with Shawnee Smith as the lead star. Given THE GRUDGE 2‘s lackluster bow in theaters, this is the most logical route. Still, I had high hopes for the series… maybe having more entires on DVD will revive the franchise and give it the life it so deserves. Did I mention Shawnee Smith’s in this thing? Yikes.
The Goods:
IMPRINT – February 10th
Not to be confused with Takashi Miike’s Masters of Horror entry IMPRINT (probably one of the most effed up stories I’ve ever seen), this IMPRINT is more along the likes of Val Kilmer’s THUNDERHEART, or rather, it’s a Native American horror story. All I know is that Variety had some kind things to say about the flick, so it has to be good, right? Those guys are never wrong!

TWILIGHT – March 21st
Get ready for the phenomena that hit theaters in November to cause the same ruckus on DVD this March. Five months from the day of it’s theatrical release, TWILIGHT will be hitting DVD, hoping to make just as big of a splash (if not bigger) than it did in theaters, as all those dudes out there who secretly love TWILIGHT will finally be able to check the f*cker out in the comfort (and secrecy) of their own home. There are some specs already out, and more are expected (it’s getting the 2-disc treatment, so no doubt). Just in time to get yourself ready for NEW MOON!

LOCUSTS: THE 8TH PLAGUE – March 24th – Because Sci-Fi original movies translates to ‘good times’ in some languages!
MURDER IS LIKE SEX – April 7th – Because this title (and cover) was just too bizarre to pass up.
EMANUELE AND THE WHITE SLAVE – February 24th – Because this exploitation piece is rated X. Not simply ‘Unrated,’ but rated ‘X.’ That’s awesome.
