Oh how far we have fallen. Yeah Cuba Gooding, Jr., I’m talking to you! Academy Award winner my ass, you’re making cheap STD “horror” movies set in the war in Iraq. Lame. The only thing this flick has going for it is that the always rockin’ Ron Perlman makes an appearance, as does the real-life rocker Henry Rollins–both of which probably signed up to star in this thing because Academy Award winner Cuba Jr. was starring… little did they know, this is how Cuba Jr. rolls these days. Meh.

DIRECT CONTACT – May 12th

There can never be enough Dolph Lundgren action movies in the world, and DIRECT CONTACT is no different. What do you need to know beyond Lundgren holding a big-ass gun over his shoulder? You don’t. That’s the glory of it. The flick also stars 80s movie badass Micahel Pare, and the two go at it via some wild gun-fights and hand-to-hand combat. Hells yeah.

DARK SECRETS – April 7th

Wow, talk about scraping the bottom of the barrell this week. DARK SECRETS is an STD. Actually, so were THE DEVIL’S TOMB and DIRECT CONTACT. Never-the-less, at least those two had some stars, this sucker has nothing except this chick locked up in a basement by a door with a bunch of windows. Which is kind of weird. The tagline says There are worse things than being dead…, which I think is saying watching this movie is worse than being dead. Talk about truth in advertising.
