FINAL DESTINATION: Scared 2 Death Pack

As expected, as a result of the upcoming theatrical release for Final Destination 3, New Line is ready to deepen their pockets with the DVD release of The Final Destination: Scared 2 Death Pack (see reviews by Arrow). The pack contains the first and second films along with a bonus disc. Here’s what comes with the set so far…

Includes:

  • Final Destination
  • Final Destination 2
  • Bonus Disc containing…
  • A 20 minute preview of Final Destination 3
  • A sneak peek at Tenacious D in: The Pick of Destiny starring Jack Black
  • A free movie ticket to see Final Destination 3

As you can see above, the set comes in to different forms. One being the side by side wrapped set or the back to back boxed set. No word on any pre-order information as of yet.

CRY_WOLF

Universal has been kind enough to pass on some early details of the upcoming DVD release of Cry_Wolf (see Arrow’s review here). And now we have the cover art for the unrated version of the film. Not the greatest but it gets the job done I suppose. Here’s the list of extras that come with the unrated DVD…

Includes:

  • English Dolby Digital 5.1 track.
  • A short film from the creators of Cry Wolf entitled Tower of Babble
  • An alternate scene
  • Deleted/extended scenes
  • Cast member Julian Morris’ exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Footage

THE EXORCISM OF EMILY ROSE

Following up on last weeks news of the upcoming DVD release for The Exorcism of Emily Rose (see Arrow’s review), we now have both covers for both versions of the film. I like the Rated versions better than the unrated. That yellowish-orange color takes away from that beautiful camera shot. I guess they wanted to attract attention. Here’s the details in case you missed them…

  • PG13-Rated Version: 119 Minutes
  • Unrated Version: 121 Minutes
  • 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer
  • English Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks
  • A Genesis of the Story featurette in which cast and crew talk about how they first heard of the story, and discuss the writing of the script
