Dwayne Johnson has a few battle scars in this set photo from Hercules: The Thracian Wars

We’ve had a ton of behind the scenes photos from Brett Ratner‘s HERCULES: THE THRACIAN WARS. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson likes to share set photos with his fans on his Twitter account much like Vin Diesel. This is always nice because they both understand that the fans want sneak peeks into what they are working on and sometimes we don’t often get anything for an extended period of time.

I think it’s great that we are seeing more from this film because of Brett Ratner. I love Dwayne Johnson but my affection for Ratner isn’t exactly affection. He’s done action films though the only one I really enjoyed was RUSH HOUR. There’s a decent cast involved too including the likes of Ian McShane, Rufus Sewell, Joseph Fiennes, Peter Mullan, and John Hurt. Not too shabby, right? Ratner previous worked with Fiennes on RED DRAGON which also wasn’t half bad.

This set photo shows Johnson with the make-up artist working on some hardcore cuts. Brutally awesome, I say.
