Dwight encounters zombies in The Walking Dead season 7 sneak peek

The Walking Dead Austin Amelio

Introduced during the sixth season of AMC's The Walking Dead, Negan's burn-scarred lackey Dwight (played by Austin Amelio) quickly became one of my most-hated characters on the show, one I would like to see get dispatched as soon as possible.

But instead of already getting killed off, as I would have preferred, here Dwight is, the only living character to be featured in a newly released sneak peek of The Walking Dead season 7. We've already seen Dwight steal Daryl's motorcycle on the show, and in this clip he takes his theft of Daryl's style even further. So far, in fact, that some fans might think this clip spoils the outcome of season six's infamous cliffhanger.

Also featuring an odd situation involving some disgusting zombies, this clip doesn't directly reveal anything but is a nice little tease of what's to come when The Walking Dead returns to AMC airwaves on October 23rd.

Actor Ross Marquand, who plays Aaron on the show, has promised that the premiere episode will be talked about for years to come, and not just because of the devastating death it features, which provides a "rough, rough exit" for the character who dies.
