It seems Edgar Allan Poe is a hot topic as of late, no? We’ve already got a couple films based on the poet heading our way and now I’m here today to tell you all about a television series being set up that’s based on the dark Poe.
News is coming in from Deadline Hollywood that ABC has greenlit scribe Chris Hollier’s period PI show “Poe.” So what’s the deal with this one? Check it:
“Poe” is a crime procedural following Edgar Allan Poe, the world’s very first detective, as he uses unconventional methods to investigate dark mysteries in 1840s Boston.
Well there you go. That’s all the info we’re given right now but do you really need any more details at this point? A television series about Edgar Allan Poe facing off against dark mysteries. Sh*t I’m down and I’m sure most of you are to!
