Today Electric Tiki announced that for their next entry into their Tooned Up Television series of maquettes, they’re going the Herman Munster way.
In what Electric Tiki hopes to be the first of many, Herman Munster of the 1966 smash television series ‘The Munsters’ will be released the 3rd quarter of this year. Based on original designs by Tracy Mark Lee, Herman’s maquette was sculpted by Ruben Procopio, and stands a little over 13″ tall (base included). Each statue will be hand cast and hand painted to exacting standard, packaged in a durable foam interior and full colour box, with a hand numbered certificate of autheticity to round things out.
While I was always an ‘Addams Family’ fan, I can’t help but find this to be a pretty cool collectible. And who knows? Maybe we’ll be getting Uncle Fester down the road at some point. Head on over to the good folks at Sideshow Collectibles to get with the pre-ordering.
