In a heartfelt letter to the world posted today on social media, Elliot Page announced that he is trans. This announcement is clearly a substantial one for the actor and you can tell from the words in his announcement as to how life-changing this step has been especially in light of the challenges the transgender community has faced in recent years. Elliot Page has long been an activist for the LGBTQ community and married his partner Emma Portner since 2018. Not long after Page announced his transition to the world, Netflix's official Twitter account responded to the actor's bravery with love and support by tweeting "So proud of our superhero!
