Coming into this week I was hoping for some NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET goodies coming out of Comic Con. I didn’t have my expectations too high. Maybe the first full shot of Freddy Krueger all burnt up and ready for action? Or dare I say… a teaser trailer?? Well those Comic Con sweets should be hitting us in a few days but that doesn’t mean we have to wait for Mr. Krueger updates!
Eric gave you all his set visit preview not too long ago and that was followed by a mysterious still featuring the disfigured one himself! All right then. We’ve been offered a couple scrumptious NIGHTMARE tidbits in preparation for Comic Con’s announcements and we’re happy… but we get even more!
The guys over at IGN scored the first teaser poster for the film! I won’t sugar coat it at all, just scroll down to check out the brass tacks of the poster and click through for the whole shot. So what do you think? I’m loving the tease on the face and the concentration on the glove. Sue me but I’m digging everything out of Platinum Dunes camp thus far in regards to this remake… and I was entirely against it out of the gate! I’m really hoping this movie turns out as awesome as it’s looking… and with Jackie Earle Haley strapping the glove on it’s hard to imagine anything less than awesome.
