Remember that Oren Peli produced genre series coming our way called “The River” Well just a few days ago I told you about the project scoring a director and now we’ve got news that “The River” has it’s first cast member!
So who’s the lucky individual to be the first one joining “The River?” Eloise Mumford! Wait… Who? Mumford (pictured) is probably best known for the series “LoneStar.” Yeah I never heard of it either but “The River” is sounding decent enough and Mumford is gorgeous so it’s all good in my book!
Described as being in the mold of Paranormal Activity, The River centers on a family who travels to the deep Amazon to locate and rescue their missing father.
Peli is producing “The River” for ABC with Jason Blum and Steven Schneider. UNKNOWN director Jaume Collet-Serra will be directing the pilot episode. Be sure to keep it here for more on “The River” as it comes our way!
