Hottie Emma Stone (ZOMBIELAND, SUPERBAD) is said to be in final negotiations to join Steve Carrell and the recently cast Ryan Gosling in John Requa and Glenn Ficarra’s “marital crisis” comedy CRAZY, STUPID LOVE.
The film, from the guys who wrote BAD SANTA and wrote/directed the upcoming I LOVE YOU PHILLIP MORRIS, “centers on a father whose life unravels while he deals with spousal problems and tries to manage his relationship with his children.” As our own Niki Stephens mentioned back in January, this does indeed sound like DAN IN REAL LIFE 2: SHIT JUST GOT REAL AGAIN. Which isn’t a bad thing, I’m just saying… it does.
CRAZY, STUPID LOVE’s script comes from writer Dan Fogelman (BOLT, FRED CLAUS, CARS). Stone will play Carrell’s daughter and Gosling’s love interest. She’ll next be seen in the indie drama PAPER MAN.
