End Call trailer

I came across this new Japanese horror flick today called END CALL. Now that the Japanese horror trend is over, maybe we’ll actually be seeing more quality stuff? Let’s hope so… though END CALL isn’t very promising.

My main concern is that the synopsis reads exactly like 976-EVIL. I kid you not. Here’s END CALL’s synopsis: The Devil has a phone number, and if you call him on your mobile phone at midnight, he will grant your wish. In return, he will control your life for the duration of the call.

See what I mean? My assumption is that END CALL will be a much more disturbing film though… least I can hope. Go ahead and scope out the trailer for the flick in our videos section. Or you can just click through below.

24framespersecond point out that END CALL has been pre-sold to Italy, Singapore, Malaysia, South Korea and the UK already. So I’m sure we’ll be seeing a US remake in the works soon, right?

The flick comes from director Kiyoshi Yamamoto and comes from the same producers behind APARTMENT 1303. As always, we’ll keep you updated.
