This is the fifth release date for the film. It was originally supposed to come out on April 17, 2020, then got pushed to August 24, 2020, then moved back to December 30, 2020. Then came the jump to 2022.

An official synopsis for this sequel has never been released, but the first movie started when

an intriguing invitation brings six strangers together. Together, they move from one terrifying scenario to the next as they find clues and solve puzzles. But the players soon learn that exposing their darkest secrets may hold the key to survive.
