We are a little less than a month out until the release of Marvel’s Eternals and the publicity train is beginning to move as advanced ticketing for the film started today and new character posters and a featurette has been released. You can view the featurette at the top of this story.
The character posters give us a closer look at Marvel’s latest heroes and they are certainly sleek and sell the film well. The more I see from Eternals the more I anticipate it because I believe this is going to be Marvel’s biggest gamble to date and I’m curious to see if they can make it pay off. As per the official synopsis, “Marvel Studios’ “Eternals” welcomes an exciting new team of Super Heroes to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The outstanding ensemble cast includes Richard Madden as the all-powerful Ikaris, Gemma Chan as humankind-loving Sersi, Kumail Nanjiani as cosmic-powered Kingo, Lauren Ridloff as the super-fast Makkari, Brian Tyree Henry as the intelligent inventor Phastos, Salma Hayek as the wise and spiritual leader Ajak, Lia McHugh as the eternally young, old-soul Sprite, Don Lee as the powerful Gilgamesh, Barry Keoghan as aloof loner Druig, and Angelina Jolie as the fierce warrior Thena.
