Evans vs. Pilgrim

JoBloJoBlo

There aren’t many movies I’m looking forward to more than SCOTT PILGRIM vs. THE WORLD. Not only is it based on a rather awesome series of graphic novels by Bryan O’Malley, but it’s the next movie from director Edgar Wright (SHAUN OF THE DEAD, HOT FUZZ, “SPACED”).

And unsurprisingly, it’s attracting an interesting cast. Michael Cera (SUPERBAD) plays the Toronto slacker of the title, who splits his time between playing in his band Sex Bob-omb and doing battle with the seven evil exes of his foxy but mysterious new girl Ramona, a rollerskating kung-fu courier played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead.

Now thanks to AICN, we can put a face on one of those evil exes: Chris Evans (SUNSHINE, FANTASTIC FOUR, PUSH), who’ll apparently play pro skateboarder turned movie star Lucas Lee. There ya go, ladies.

In addition, Wright mentioned on his Myspace blog (people really still use Myspace?!?) that he’s cast actress Ellen Wong as Knives Chau, the 17-year-old obsessed with Scott. As we’ve also recently learned, Aubrey Plaza and Kieran Culkin are among the cast. Can’t wait to see who’s next.
