Danny Rand returns to New York City after being missing for years, trying to reconnect with his past and his family legacy. He fights against the criminal element corrupting his world around him with his incredible kung fu mastery and ability to summon the awesome power of the fiery Iron Fist. The last Defender is here to stay in the new trailer for Marvel’s latest Netflix show, Iron Fist!
Of the Defenders we’ve seen hit Netflix thus far (Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage), Iron Fist seems the least interesting of the bunch. Of course, that’s easy to say given that it’s the only show we haven’t had the pleasure of watching yet. The story itself seems like a riff on BATMAN BEGINS, albeit with more kung fu. Still, Marvel’s Netflix shows have a decent track record and I’m looking forward to seeing David Wenham ham it up as a villain. Come next month, I hope to see some serious fisting!
