Evil has found its superhero in final trailer for Brightburn

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Now I'm not saying that you'd go around terrorizing the population and blowing shit up, but who among us would actually be able to resist the temptation to use real-life superpowers for a little mischief? BRIGHTBURN, the upcoming superhero horror from producer James Gunn, follows an alien from another world who crash-lands on Earth and is adopted by Tori (Elizabeth Banks) and Kyle (David Denman). Unfortunately, this child is no Superman, and as he grows, he begins using his abilities for something far more sinister. With the film set to hit theaters at the end of the week, Sony Pictures have released a final trailer for BRIGHTBURN.

The official synopsis for BRIGHTBURN:

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister? With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of Guardians of the Galaxy and Slither presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

BRIGHTBURN will hit theaters on May 24th.
