Now that summer is pretty much over in the movie world (starting Tuesday, that is), Entertainment Weekly recently put together a list of ‘pre-season’ awards for upcoming Fall movies. Their list not only included awards, but new images that we haven’t seen of some of our favorite genre efforts coming out in the next couple of months.
SAW V got the award for Movies You’ve Already Decided You’re Seeing or Not, while REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA scored the Best Sci-Fi Musical Starring Paris Hilton. Other new images included one from TWILIGHT (Most Likely Blockbuster), and one from PUNISHER: WAR ZONE (Biggest Third-Time’s-The-Charm Hopeful).
Sure, these awards don’t really mean shite, as their given by somebody who gets paid to voice their opinion on movies (like me, for instance), but really… it’s just some movie fan like the rest of us. But the new images are pretty cool, so gotta give it up for that!
Speaking of new images, the new SAW V image featuring Scott Patterson with his head in a box (or, as some would say, a slightly different version of a dick in a box) is also one (sorta) seen on the new SAW V poster (check that out HERE). I don’t know about you, but I’m already sick of seeing Patterson in this new trap… it’s the only flippin’ trap we’ve seen! Show us a new one, already! Show us a pic of somebody other than this no-talent taint Patterson once in a while–he’s not the ‘star’ of this entry, is he?
