As featurettes go, this new one for Spike Lee's OLDBOY is pretty cool. It manages to keep the story secret for those unaware of the Korean version or the graphic novel, while still presenting a really great case to see it. Taking a closer look at the making of the film, the featurette has Josh Brolin, Sharlto Copley, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Spike Lee all talking about their approach to the material and what their expectations are for the film. There's plenty of new footage as well, which serves to entice you even further into this twisted little tale.

Take a look:

Having recently seen a bit of the famed "hammer" scene, I can say that I'm absolutely going to be catching this one in theaters. Beyond that, the cast is simply superb. You can't beat the line-up and even though I'm not a big fan of Lee's, I know that he has it within him to deliver the goods from time to time. This feels like one of those times.

OLDBOY brings the hammer down on November 27, 2013.
