About a year ago we first told you about a little movie called GHOSTS OF GOLDFIELD, starring Kellan Lutz and “Rowdy” Roddy Piper (have the flashback HERE), but the buzz around the movie has seemed to have died down just a bit since then. Until now, that is.
Today we were provided with an EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK at the film’s DVD cover (below), as well as an EXCLUSIVE new pic (above) from the film featuring Lutz and a few of his co-stars! Kick-ass!
While the DVD cover is somewhat typical of your straight to DVD horror fare (a generic ghost / zombie looking scary), I think we can all appreciate the fact that there are NO floating heads to be found, nor some other lame excuse at cheap advertising. For a lower budgeted flick, I’d say this thing is looking hot!
Directed by Ed Winfield, GHOSTS OF GOLDFIELD goes a little something like this: A group of five led by Julie set up their filming equipment in the hotel of the derelict town of Goldfield, hoping to capture footage of the ghost of Elisabeth Walker, a maid tortured and killed in room 109. Troubled by visions, Julie discovers that a necklace, handed down to her from her grandmother, is somehow connecting her to this tragedy.
