I’m only now starting to catch up to the work of Brad Anderson having just recently rented THE MACHINIST and SESSION 9. Both are incredibly underrated films that made me excited for whatever Anderson was cooking up next. What that happens to be is TRANSSIBERIAN, a thriller set upon a train ride from China to Moscow. It’s like a demented version of THE DARJEELING LIMITED (it’s actually nothing like DARJEELING except the train). The film stars Woody Harrelson, Kate Mara, Ben Kingsley, Thomas Kretschmann and Emily Mortimer.
