Exclusive 1:1 Interview: Vacation Stars Christina Applegate and Ed Helms!

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

Honestly I did not expect to enjoy the new VACATION movie starring Ed Helms and Christina Applegate. Yet once I sat down and "Holiday Road" by Lindsey Buckingham began playing, this latest feature had me. Not only is it funny, but so far it is the funniest movie of the year when it comes to laugh-out-loud humor. With a winning cast and an absolutely hilarious Chris Hemsworth, there is much to love in this new film.

At the junket for VACATION, I had the opportunity to chat with the very talented Ed Helms. The actor talked about taking on the project, and helping travelers out thanks to lending his voice to the amazing navagation app Waze. He is always a pleasure to chat with, and frankly, he is incredibly funny in the new film.

I've had the opportunity to talk to Christina Applegate as well, and man is she cool. There is something about this lovely lady that never fails to impress me. We talked about the new film and the fact that this is a sequel as opposed to a remake. And guess what, she is pretty damn great as the one time wild child who is now a (mostly) happily married mother-of-two. If you are looking for laughs to finish off this summer, I highly recommend you check out VACATION hitting theatres Tuesday evening, and opening wide on Wednesday, July 29th
