In the new haunted horror flick THE CONJURING from director James Wan, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson portray real life paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. The two fantastic actors co-star with the ferociously great Lily Taylor and Ron Livingston proving once again that the director knows how to cast a film. In fact both Farmiga and Wilson are especially effective as the real life couple searching for the answers behind a series of unexplained events.
I’ve had the opportunity to interview both Wilson and Farmiga before and it was terrific to see Wilson continue to work with Wan. And as for Farmiga, she is fantastic as Lorraine Warren. And both of them share a wonderful chemistry that adds a real human drama to this scary story. When we spoke, they talked about getting to know the real life Lorraine Warren who I only had a few minutes with but was absolutely enthralled with. THE CONJURING opens this Friday at a theatre near you.
